The 39 cars at the start of the race covered 15 162 kilometres in 3 327 laps of the Portimão track. 7 cars were caught in an accident in the first lap of the race and further in some other incidents which means that 31 cars crossed the finish line out of 39.
The teams did 115 pitstops during the 4-hours race in order to refuel, change tyres or repair the cars.
Phil Hanson was the fastest during the race with a lap in 1:33.220 at the wheel of the n°22 United Autosports Oreca 07.
The 4 Hours of Portimão was the final round of the 2019 season and the winners were Idec Sport in LMP2, 360 Racing in LMP3 and Luzich Racing in LMGTE.
