41 cars entered the 2019 season and covered 142 991 km, 25415 laps in the 6 countries that the championship visited. All the six track lengths cumulated is equal to 33.888km, Spa being the longest with 7.004km and Barcelona being the shortest with 4.655km.
ELMS partner Dunlop provided the teams with 1937 tyres for the season and Total provided 196 920 litres of fuel.
James Allen was the quickest driver of the 2019 season with a top speed of 321km/h at the wheel of the n°21 DragonSpeed Oreca07 in Le Castellet.
Idec Sport secured its first ELMS title in Portimão with the n°28 Oreca 07. After a season of battles, and an action-pack last race, the French team crossed the finish line only 0.496seconds ahead of Phil Hanson at the wheel of the n°22 United Autosports Oreca 07.
The European Le Mans Series, will have now a winter break to come back in 2020 for another thrilling season!
