What the Driver’s Say (LMP3 and LMGTE) – Race Press Conference

ELMS - 15/04/2017

Sean Rayhall – 1st LMP3 - No2 United Autosports Ligier JS P3 – Nissan

“Words can’t really explain.  Monza was good and we did some off season testing that went well.  The team performed amazingly all week and they gave us a great race car.  I’m super impressed how John did as well; he handled the pressure like a pro. So it is just great to be here.”

John Falb – 1st LMP3 - No2 United Autosports Ligier JS P3 – Nissan

“I like to race here in Europe and in the States but more importantly I want to fight for a championship.  Six events in the ELMS with 4-hour races is perfect for me and I also get to race in the US in selected races.  Plus we have 17 cars in P3, all very good teams, so the competition is very high. I am excited about the next race in Monza, the land of high speed and it is good to go there with a win here at Silverstone. Let’s go!”

Salih Yoluc (TUR) – 1st LMGTE - No90 TF Sport Aston Martin V8 Vantage

“Of course I am very happy with this result. We knew we had the speed to have a good race and we all had a clean race so we came away with a good result.  The start wasn’t too bad at the back, we managed to avoid any problems, so it wasn’t too hard really.”

Nicki Thiim (DEN) – 1st LMGTE - No90 TF Sport Aston Martin V8 Vantage

“I’m really happy for the team on their home ground, both Aston Martin and TF Sport. I came into the team from the sideline and I feel really familiarised already, in a very positive way. Salih did an amazing job, he made us comfortable and able to do an easy stint, to bring the car back and finish off with a great result in the first race.”

Euan Hankey (GBR) – 1st LMGTE - No90 TF Sport Aston Martin V8 Vantage

“I never thought we would be in this position if you’d asked me in the middle of last year, but we’ve all improved so much especially Salih, he has really developed and it has made our live very easy.  I did have a few bits of contact, which wasn’t exactly ideal. However we got over the finish line and we got the first place, which is exactly what we wanted.”
